How Much Is Gas in Your Town?

Like the "gas wars" of 1973, when you were only allowed x-amount gallons of gas. People simply went to the next gas station, which produced long lines waiting to get to the pumps. Stations often ran out of gas before your turn.

Ironically, in the early 1960s, there were gas price wars. Gas was down to 18 cents/gallon in my town in some stations. Now there's an unspoken law that all gas stations must offer the exact same price per gallon at the pump.

What goes around, comes around.

In NJ in the 70's, not only were there long lines, but there were odd and even gas days. It went by the last number on your license plate and you could only get gas every other day. People would run out of gas in line so it wasn't unusual to see people pushing cars. Gas would be stolen or siphoned out so you needed a lock on you gas cap. My grandfather kept an extra can in the garage but would siphon from one car to another if necessary.

Here just west of DFW, you can find gas at $2.89 if you go to Murphy, Raceway, or the supermarkets. The major names are a little over $3.00.

I remember in 04 it approaching $5 a gal in south Louisiana. We are always cheap down there bc of the location of the refineries

The prices of Fossil Fuels are being deliberately driven up to corral or coerce the people into begging the acceptance of everything being operated by electricity. Once accepted there will be no other fuel options and civilization will be officially controlled.

2.99-3.09 Myrtle Beach depending on how close to tourist areas you are.

Here in Sydney we use litres and now we are paying $2 per litre.

Roughly 4 litres in a gallon so compare to you guys, we are paying 8 bucks a gallon.

4.02 for premium.

The last two times I went it was:
-$3.75 for 93 octane @ Shell
-$3.09 for deisel at shell

I only use Shell fuel.
