Cats or dogs?

I have both

I have both, but I was a cat person my entire life until 4 years ago.

I like the companionship the dogs provide, but they are high maintenance. Life was much easier when it was only cats.

I've had both. Cats are pets but dogs are man's best friend. A lot more work in the 1st 2 years, but worth it to have a loyal companion.

Got this 1 in May. She's 8 months now and doing great.

Well said. Cats tolerate us, maybe even like us. Dogs are in love with us.

They're different, but both are respectable. Dogs are great because you take them with you everywhere. They'll give their life to save you.

Cats are awesome because they don't need you, but choose to stay with you.

Dog is the epitome of unconditional love, cat couldn't give a shit about you. Cat is literally one slight step above rodent, none are allowed in my house as per my dogs.

I like animals, had a couple cats that were fine ...
a blue jay that would eat from my hand ...
but dogs are the bomb, great great memories of
several of em from mutts to AKC champs

Dogs all the way, but not those little yapping rat sized dogs. I don't really look at those as dogs. They are wannabees.

I don't think it's true cats don't care. My cat sleeps in my bed, follows me everywhere, protects me, comes to me for cuddles,..
