Love that man!! Am an old lady lovin' nearly all genres of music and believe it or not, got to see Kid in concert up close and personal many yrs ago. One of the most talented artists today, he's vastly underrated in his musical abilities b/c so many can't get past his music style.

And for some reason, watching that new song of his made me LOL thinking about how far our society has come when calling out BS via the entertainment sector. Like this compilation of Flying Fickle Finger of Fate moments from so long ago.

He's about as blue collar American as Ilhan Ohmar.

When I was 15 my band was recording at a studio in Detroit called the White Room Studio where he used one of their rooms. He came in and ate chicken with us one day while we recorded. I’ve always had a lot of respect for his drive to get as far as he did, he was committed. His music is kind of meh’ to me though but that’s beside the point. He doesn’t care what anybody thinks and I thinks that’s a great quality in a musician.

I grew up downriver. We had kid rock perusing the malls handing out demos and the insane clown possee bussing tables at a wedding venue nearby. Kid rock was very nice, went to a few parties he was at. Always in his fedora and long coat.

ICP wasn’t folks who I ran into often. It was a good time back then for sure.

I’m up in North Macomb, a city over from Romeo so he was a pretty big deal out here growing up even before he blew up. I remember all the ICP vs Kid Rock stuff back then, lol. Pretty cool time to be living around Detroit. We hung out in Mt. Clemens a lot back in the late 90s early 2000s. What a blast we had.

I remember reading about him getting vaxxxed quite a while back.

Thought it was hilarious at the time.

Hypocrite in my book. Sure its a catchy tune but he is still not on my side of the line.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm not much of a fan, but it's a decent song. All summer long is a terrible song. I think the Polyfuze Method was his best album and that was from way back in the 90's.
