Redstone electric infrared fireplace with remote control.

It has a gentle fan that fills the room with heat, and the breeze blows at knee level which feels freeekin awesome when you got smashed up knees.

Just a heads up.

Mine is cherry wood finish, 2ft high and 3ft wide, it is not one of the huge ones that is permanent. You can roll mine around it has really good wheels.

I'm glad we don't need heaters here.

What will you do when Uncle Pedo Joe turns off the electricity?

What's your backup plan?

And there it is. If you can't live like they lived 150 years ago then you wont make it.

If you think you're going to be all cozy with your wood stove, with piles of split wood outside, while the masses freeze and starve to death you might want to rethink your plan. Unless of course you're extremely remote, and well defended.
