I often point out that the main symbol of Nazism, Adolf Hitler, was a homosexual German originally into art-painting, museums, architecture and the opera. Not that there's anything wrong with those pursuits, but Hitler sure as hell wasn't an Aussie version of a beer-swilling, skirt-chasing rightwing redneck.

He was also into animal rights, which was his version of Australian "leftys" love of Aboriginal/GLBT rights. Or love of pro-anti-C02, a love of planet-Earth environmentalism.

Hitler also favored "lefty" socialism and - as is true of many liberals - was indifferent or hostile towards Christianity. He wrote that theology off as something for "old women."
