this documentary is confusing. I can't tell if vanguard is a benvolent or malevolent 'entity'.

look at the definition of 'vanguard'
-a group of people leading the way in new developments or ideas

could Vanguard be the future way of multiplying the human race and allowing it to thrive so that we can explore and colonize other planets? Could Vanguard be a way to defend ourselves from hostile alien civilizations?

You be the judge, take from what you will, but choose wisely which path you choose to walk

Interesting. I see Humanity potentially splitting up into two groups, since it is growing very large to 'manage'. Hopefully if we split into two groups, we will still be loving and caring towards each other, share culture and goods and services with both groups, etc.
