Remember one thing though, if you get into a knife fight, you will get cut. The only question is just how badly.

I have found that the bigger the knife the easier it is to
defend against. Use anything around you to defend yourself.
No rules......even picking up dirt from the ground in a split second can save your life if you get it the attackers eyes

I used a snow marker from the side walk and smacked the guy in the face a couple of times.

To this day i cant believe it but yea, that stick saved me from a really bad fight.

After you read the bluster from people who more than likely have never been around let alone experienced violence telling you what they would and what you should do the best thing to do is and always will be to get away as fast and safely as possible from someone brandishing a knife. There is absolutely no shame in getting yourself away from harms way. If someone uses a knife the majority of the time the damage is done before you have time to defend yourself so always try and distance yourself first.

against a knife and if I didn't have a Gun i wouldn't stick around, I run fast. If you cant get away find something long stick,belt and kick to ward off. you can train to fight in these scenarios
