I spent 8 months on the eastern artic seaboard, about halfway between the artic circle and the so called pole. It was interesting...to say the least. An anomaly of interest was the appearance of a very large "bumble" type bee...out of nowhere, on the tundra...on one of the warmer days when it was aprx. -20 degrees celsius. Always remember that as odd!

Wow, that's amazing! I've heard of birds and butterflies being seen on tundra but not bees. There is the hearsay that it gets warmer as you get to the Pole, centre of the surface Earth.

I've been to the North Pole-via submarine-we dropped off some stuff there- I can't confirm it was the north pole-but it there was nothing and water under ice as far as I know --no land mass not warm what so ever -freezing
