Psychedelic drugs trick your senses, but in my experience rational thought is at least somewhat still present. That rational thought and reasoning is what keeps you from losing it.

No not 30 years. From the age of 12-25 I took LSD every other day (10-30hits sometimes more, most ever consumed was 70). I knew a chemist. I was literally handed sheets of acid all the time. Grew mushrooms the whole time, ate those almost daily as well with MAOIs. Spent a 5 year period using Ayahuasca almost daily as well. Mixing many different psychedelics. I’m the perfect example of what NOT to do. There’s a reason I’m sober now. My brain was pretty depleted of all dopamine, seratonin and energy at the end of my run.

Just curious, in that time, did anyone ever offer adrenochrome, asking to ascertain source acsesability is closer to large dealers of other drugs?

I made the horrific mistake Thursday evening of taking a God dose of mushrooms, some of which were pretty damn old.

Don't EVER eat them if you don't know their age or culmination process! Please just don't...

I ate the whole bag at about 8pm Thursday evening. By midnight going into Friday, I had left my body.

My surface temperature was extremely hot, probably 105. Yes I realize how bad this can be. It can cause seizures, stroke, hemorrhaging and death.

I lay in my bed as all of the water and mucous purged from my body. I couldn't get up to get tissues or to go vomit, so I took off my shirt and used it.

Around 5 am I began to dry heave harder than I ever have in my life. My eyes were almost popping out of my head and I'm not kidding about that or exaggerating.

I lay on the bathroom floor in so much pain. Sooo much pain in my back and my head, but otherwise I couldn't really feel that much. Temperature felt unimportant.

I turned the shower on a low hot and sat in there with water washing over me, which made me feel a bit better temporarily. I took ibuprofen to stop the horrible pain and it helped a bit.

I haven't slept for a few days, nor have I eaten a meaningful meal. I downed some butternut squash soup and surprisingly haven't thrown it up.

Upon doing some research I see that I am very lucky.

Had my fever been unsuccessful in breaking, I think I would have passed in my bed.

Holy fuck the messages I was given... It is much to process but you can ask me any questions you'd like or give advice.

My head still hurts really bad and I'm nauseous and weak as fuck.

Sure does, actually, there are a few others I've seen that are well versed in mycology here.


Micro-dosing psilocybin is actually one the best treatments for anxiety, mild depression, OCD and even quitting alcohol out there. What's great about it is when done properly people will feel zero side effects or even a trippy feeling that is why they call it micro-dosing.


A couple of reasons many people get sick taking large doses is the chitin, in the mushrooms. Chitin is the composition of what makes up the mushroom, and why mushrooms are not plants, but lean more towards crustaceans (Crabs, Shrimp, Lobsters)because that is what the shells (Exoskeletons) of most crustaceans are made of "Chitin". Mushrooms need to be ground up for most people before being taken because they can and will cause extremely gastrointestinal issues. Lemon tea can also be used to reduce upset stomachs.

This world were in is an extremely dark place. We are loved beyond our wildest dreams but the human body limits us all.

What I did was beyond stupid. Thinking back, all the death, destruction and other issues experienced all while on psychedelics. My grandfathers, multiple friends, it made me an extremely hardened person for a long time. Now I’m a father and have an agreement with myself that I won’t touch another psychedelic until he’s old enough to handle himself.

I will say I miss that GLP home page bleeding colors and fractals while I smile and laugh and cry at the same time .

Years ago I took mushrooms in an AOL chat room….I dunno what happened but when I woke up the next day I had a 48 hour ban and half my buddy list had me on ignore.

You have to be severely inexperienced with psychedelics to think you can fly. I’ve done well over 10,000 doses of LSD, 1,000+ Ayahuasca trips, between 5-10K psilocybin trips and not once have attempted flight. I am not a duck. .

I’ve seen micro dosing work wonders on some people in my life. I took everything I ever did to the extreme with psychedelic substances at the top of that list. I dosed daily but I used MAOIs to keep my tolerance in check and high, high, extremely high doses. People say you can’t abuse them, you can, I did.

I always used cannabis or cannabis oil to calm my stomach issues when on psilocybin.

Even on my most intense experiences there has still been rational though. Once when I was on an LSD/psilocybin combo I got news my great friend had died of a heroin overdose, that knocked me down about 10 notches. Still emotional and it almost killed my heart. The mind is extremely powerful.
