When you are dehydrated your internal organs suffer. Most people are dehydrated and that is why they get sick or have lots of symptoms and headaches. Your internal organs seek hydration wherever they can get it, so your kidneys will suffer, etc. Hydration is necessary for optimal health. |

Doctor shares one major tip A medical expert explains how you can potentially stop omicron variant symptoms Quigley told me in an interview that omicron variant symptoms “may be difficult or impossible to stop.” “For those who may experience headaches, a sore throat or a fever you can hydrate and take headache and over-the-counter cold medications to help reduce the symptoms,” he said. Quigley added that stopping COVID-19 symptoms depends on each people. “It is important to take a step back to evaluate your symptoms and take the necessary steps that work for you whether that be getting extra rest, extra hydration or taking over-the-counter medication to combat more severe symptoms,” Quigley said. So now they are telling us that if we contract Omicron/COVID to get a shot when we are sick? LOLOL! They are just pulling this shit out of their rear ends. Let's all get measles, flu, and tetanus shots after we get the diseases, too. And these are the guys who said, follow science? |

Tickly almost irrelevant cough for two days but by day two I noticed I got more tired than usual on a hike so tested myself. Positive. Half an hour later we were both in bed with insane shakes which lasted two hours and were very violent. We felt cold but no temperature, I'm still not sure if it was psychosomatic or not but it was very weird. hardly slept, next day felt like I'd been out all night taking every naughty drug and drink possible. Lost appetite then and it didn't come back AT ALL for at least two days. Headache too, probably because I couldn't eat and I felt quite nauseous. Very tired and very aching ribs which made sleep almost impossible. My partner had a slight temperature and night sweats, I didn't. I felt like my chest was inflamed. by the middle of the night on day 3 I suddenly stopped aching and also felt very hungry all at once. From that point we both started getting better although we ended up with a big of an annoying cough which I've still got. I take melatonin every night and also dosed with aspirin and chaga mushroom - I think all these things definitely h elped. I usually take a lot of zinc but cut it back when we were ill as I was worried about a cytokine storm. I think not eating was an important part of fighting it off and I am still avoiding sugar. We both feel fine now after a couple of weeks, it was not really that bad tbh. It could be you have Delta which is worse than omicron, you should take aspirin and melatonin if you can get it, don't eat any sugar. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79391055 United States 01/14/2022 06:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK Stella, I read it. I'm on day four of this fight. I saw rest and hydration in the article. I've taken almost everything mentioned on this board including iver from india (2 different brands since I don't trust many folks) and Amoxy and Azithro. I've endured rounds of this shit going through my household and didn't get barely a sniffle. I'm no model of health at 50, High BP and cholest, NAFLD, Pakinsons family history of other nastiness. I finally came down with the shanghai shivers on Tues. Started with sore throat, chills, head ache, body aches and escalated to fever 103ish by Wednesday. That night I became more congested and started taking antibiotics (my own stash). I was waking up every 45 minutes and completely exhausted. I prayed for recovery and the next day I came out of the Valley of the Shadow of Death. On Thursday my healthy 16 year old son came down with same symptoms. This time I start with prayer the loaded him up with pills and fluids. He recovered much faster than I did but I learned to put the prayer in first. All you vaxers, heathens, fauchi cult members can be comforted by the choices you have made because I'm comfortable with mine. I will not get vaxed or seek traditional health care treatment for this. I would rather die with dignity surrounded by the people I love. Thankfully it has not ended like that yet! |

A lot of people have had it at this point, including myself about a month ago. It's not just a cold, but it feels sort of like one. You can tell it's "different" by how your body reacts. There are a lot of ways of fighting it, many mentioned above. I used colloidal silver as well, vit C tablets, aspirin, a lot of sleep, and we have chickens so eggs with lots vit D all the time, curcuma, cinnamon, garlic... all these things work especially when done together. Reduce sugar, alcohol to a minimum, cannabis and tobacco can help but in moderation. Never had a cold like this, but haven't been sick in many, many years. Flu was more brutal but also shorter. Your body can sense it's novel. Natural cures work and provide the best chance for long-term natural immunity. Full disclosure: no vax here, never will |

Funny thing the poster wrote rang true for me. Your body fights it for days before you start with chills and fever. My husband was sneezing and starting to feel bad. I did a mental body check and realized I was at about 80 percent. My resources were battling something. Three days later I got chills and fever. So your body does drop down it’s resources when you first fight Covid. You don’t feel it yet but your body fights it for days before the chills start. |

Quoting: Stella Vanella Also to the person above... Did you try benedryl and pepcid? I tried benedryl but no pepcil... The benedryl clogged up my sinuses so I backed off that stuff fearing congestion in my lungs. I am still having sinus issues but I can clear them. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73737575 Canada 01/14/2022 10:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Apparently - this was all predicted by science. Does the paragraph below make any sense to you - what is this person saying? Yes, the older population are now getting the Omicron virus and they also have waning immunity from their vaccinations and require the third dose of vaccine to remain protected. This is what was predicted – Omicron was spread in the younger population to begin with and there was fear this would happen once it spread to the older population if third boosters hadn’t been administered in time. The third booster is really important for everyone, I have mine. |

Yes I could shed some pound still but I am still physically active. I am very proud of earning a blue belt in jujitsu with over 230 hours on the mat in slightly less than two years. I've fought through COVID restrictions, multiple injuries to include groin, shoulder, neck, back and knees. Do I get my ass kicked? Yes I do. AND I LOVE IT! |

It can cause a sort of wet pneumonia where bloody fluid fills the lungs. Aspirin overdose is what killed millions during the spanish flu pandemic. Zinc dosage must be kept below 50mg per day as it can damage vision at higher doses. |
