Now my daughter is in the kitchen making apple muffins with crumb topping… all from scratch. And of course there is a pot of hot Cocoa simmering on the stovetop to warm bellies and fingers when the kiddos take a break from sledding and playing in the snow! Sonflower17 |

We call them "The French toast people". Literally the only time we make it. Quoting: TrufSerumX So have some local thick cut salt cured bacon I'm frying up, French toast, some cheese eggs, and throwing some corn we stored in the deep freezer to roast over the fire in its husks in a cast iron pot (rotating in the pot often) and rubbed down with some bear grease and garlic! yum! Wife is sipping some homemade blackberry wine I make (day drinking). I'm enjoying some freshly ground coffee from the perc. What you guys doing in this "storm"? I must say that your life sounds really great. I respect people who take pride in in their home cooking and know how to put prepare food well. Your wife is one lucky woman. |
