Anonymous Coward User ID: 71828855 United States 02/16/2022 03:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a couple of Macs--one of which still work. They remind me of the two Cadillacs I used to own. A lot of fun and a great source of pride when they were new. But they turned out to be no more reliable or long-lived than the cheaper stuff. I now drive a Chevy and the most-recent computer I bought is a Gateway. They fill my needs. But anyway, congratulations, and enjoy your new computer! |

Anybody have any suggestions on good tutorials or videos besides YouTube. Quoting: Unclefungus Oh, one important thing that any new Mac user should take note of: Macs and PCs are upside-down and backwards in regard to each other. It's deliberate. It was done to prevent the claim that either Macs or PCs were copying the look or feel of the other. Both went out of their way to keep things different, including petty stuff such as having to enable a Mac mouse to use right clicks. Another tip is that PC software have the menus embedded in the software windows, but Macs have the menus as part of the desktop. |

Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things. |
