I went to Moscow for New Years, it was amazing. Had to go through metal detectors and stuff and one of the military asked what was in my pocket and as soon as he heard my American accent he let me go, he said “go go go”. Didn’t even care anymore.
It was one of the large batteries to charge a cell phone. Russia is a good place with good people. They don’t smile at strangers because it’s not sincere, it’s not that they aren’t happy at all. They think it’s stupid to smile for no reason.
