I haven't read the rest of the thread, but i'm sure that you've already observed the truth of this.

I really don't like to think about what is going to happen when there is no law to stop 'the purge' (see movie).

I think it has to do with the different ways that men and women think. We're both wired a certain way.

Men are wired to lust, and "hot" or "sexy" just convey that better. When their dick isn't hard they may feel that you're beautiful, smart or enchanting, whatever...but in the moment "hot" is a pretty good compliment.

"Beautiful" is an attempt to be objective. "Hot" describes their effect on men. They describe 2 very different things.

Lol- if my Hubs did all that he’d be a very happy (if unproductive) man. ;) Mine’s a great provider & a really good man but doesn’t enjoy projects. I’m a “homemaker” personality so seeing him care for our home, or/and my desire to make it as nice as can be just gets me going.

Hot means preheated. I get that!
