Massive Russian convoy closing on Kiev | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 82304962 Czechia 02/27/2022 04:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Difficult to find actual clips of these convoys so...have this instead. Yup, more vulnerable to artillery/air...but also provides overlapping fields of fire, quick deployment and fast movement. Different tactics for different situation. That Russia is confident enough to move in this kind of formation, knowing they'd be spotted (and likely were well before the release of this clip by satellite) says a lot Yeah, ok bud. That example is exactly why the U.S. doesn't do this shit anymore. [link to tacticalgear.com (secure)] Different environments, different tactics. No one size fits all ever works But that's what Russian Infantry has. One size fits all. Literally |

Quoting: Sol-tari China has numbers...but most of their troops don't even have basic body armor. Ranking any country is difficult at the top They all have extremely different tactics, weaponry etc. You don't necessarily need body armor if you have good logistics and plenty of men. No rounds penetrated his body armor, and he made it home with no permanent injuries. This happened in Kunar Province, Afghanistan More the latter then the former of your suggestions mate. They have the manpower so...fuck the casualties seems to be their MO I didn't say it was the U.S. strategy as we have the best lightest armor avialble in the world. It's the strategy of nations with millions of what the see expendable resources. Didn't say you were, just posted a clip noting the advantages of proper armor. Bloke took multiple hits and remained not only combat effective but was able to leave the area without injury *Glitches May Occur. Consume(D) At Own Risk |

It's like they only have one size they give out to everybody. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76820050 Good point. Tell that to the neo-nazi Ukrainians who have killed more than 15,000 of their brothers in the Donbass since 2014, and have't stopped shelling until Putin arrived. . |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41206840 if Russia would know there are any A10s in the area, the column wouldn't even be placed like that duh Did I say there were A10s? All I said was they would have a field day with that column TARD. Sure, the super speedy A10s would really have no problem avoiding a Mach 3 S-200 S-300 S-400 or the Tor, Buk, Kub, and dozens of other systems they would use to cover the araa Oh wait, a single Mig 29 would take out 4 or 6 A-10s with Archers. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76667053 United States 02/28/2022 02:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A 3 mile long convoy of tanks, artillery, men and equipment has been spotted moving on Kiev. Looks like things are about to heat up The Russian armor if on the M-07 Korosten-Bucha roadway or Ivankiv are very slow. Even with armor mass they are not going to race into Kyiv. Every lead tank will get hit and slow the rest to a crawl. It could easily into a Ukrainian style Hells Highway ...remember Kuwait 1991? Where do Russian generals learn their battle strategy? |
