My Friend Frank Has Covid, in ICU

How is Frank today?
Hoping he is getting stronger and feeling better!

Frank was taken out of sedation today. He was able to answer the doctor's questions and they are giving him some nutrition thru his IV. His chest X-ray this morning looked about the same but no worse than the one three days ago. That is good news!

HE IS RESTING NOW, BUT NOT ON MORPHiNE OR ANY OTHER SEDATIVE. He is able to cough too.

Hi O2 saturation is in the low 90's % with the nose canula, but that is the best that can be expected right now.

We have put Frank back on the CPAP mask for the night.

I'm fighting with him to keep him from taking it off. They gave him a drug called Adavan (spelling?), supposed to help him relax.

His O2 saturation is hovering around 93-94%. Will probably be there for the night.

Frank was sedated overnight so that he could breathe using the CPAP mask.

He is back on the nose cannula for now. I'm having to fight with him to keep it strapped on.

The Doc will bring him out of sedation again today.

Right now Frank is sedated and is tolerating the CPAP well. His O2 saturation is in the 95-96% range.

The Doc will order another chest X-ray tomorrow morning. I am hopeful it will show improvement due to his O2 uptake.

Please, everyone, if you are so inclined, continue to pray for Frank's recovery! Your prayers are heard and are working in his favor. I am seeing it every hour here.

Update on Frank's condition:

His chest xray this morning showed some improvement in his lungs. That is good news!

They are keeping him sedated so that he will tolerate the cpap mask. With it on, is blood o2 saturation is staying around 95%, which is good!

He still has blood clots, at least one on his aorta and multiples in his lungs.

So, dear friends, and I mean that sincerely, because all of you who have prayed for Frank will forever be my friends, please pray that the blood clots will clear up.

Your support means the world to me. He is healing slowly. We must keep up our vigil.

Was he taking all the supplements including zinc and ivermectin? Black seed and oregano oil are excellent also.

Why didn’t you give some to him?

Give him some with what they are using. Put it in a peanut butter cracker he can eat.

Give him Benadryl. You may think this is crazy but research it. Diphenhydramine works.

In the name of Jesus, Heavenly Father, please strengthen, encourage and heal Frank. Please be with his family and friends to strengthen and encourage them as well. Send your warring angels to fight against the evil ones who would do them harm. Thank you, Lord for the improvements we are seeing in Frank's condition and we pray if it is Your will, remove this illness from him completely and restore his health. Amen.

Thank you all for your input and your caring. Frank is stable now and his vitals are good. We have to keep the O2 saturation up in his blood and watch the clots.
