Anyone forgetting words?

I considered this but when I saw it happening to young children it made me wonder if something else is at play here.

Yes. The term for this is difficulty with "word finding".

Part of growing older or you have a lot on your mind. Don’t worry :) If it becomes a problem then go see a doctor. I’m sure your fine or you wouldn’t worry about it. At least you don’t get in the wrong car like I have! That was a terrible feeling! Lol

I've been noticing alot of people on YouTube when they talk stumbling with words and will be saying jokingly " Argh I'm forgetting how to talk"

Recently...do you find yourself talking and have the next word you were about to say just leave your head? Regular common words. I'm not talking about forgetting peoples' names or the forgetfulness due to age. I am talking about stupid common nouns that just jump out of your head before you can say them.

I have talked to several people lately that this has been happening to. Not all of them are adults (It happened to my 6 yr old the other day).

When it first happened to me I attributed it to being tired and/or distracted but it seems to be happening more and more. I got in a conversation with a few people the other day that said it has been happening more and more.

Just wondering if this is happening to others.

Perhaps we are battle fatigued from the constant bombardment of lies and fakery that we are mentally sifting through.

Thoughts anyone?

Yes, and similarly, when I start to do something, such as go to a website, I open a browser, and immediately forget what I was going to do. It is pronounced and has only been happening a few weeks, and its noticeable to me. Its like the common experience of walking into a room and forgetting why you came in there, but more sudden and harsh than that experience, and frequent. I have not had covid to my knowledge. I am definitely feeling very stressed with everything happening in the world in addition to my own personal stressful circumstances. I am also exceptionally irritable, which I notice when I drive. It stands out as more than usual, more intense.
