Tomorrow, the Germans will wake to face a price increase of up to 50% on everything they buy. Even now the night shift is marking up prices.

This is merely the first of many such increases this year.

The hyperinflation is ‘suddenly’ here because the Petrodollar was an abomination responsible for a reign of Death and Destruction around the world that lasted 57 years, and now the petrodollar is dying. Good riddance.

That won't really hit US Aldi stores in the same way.

Prices in US Aldi have been climbing for weeks. Red Bag Chicken that I love went from $5.49 to $7.99 and the amount of chicken decreased. All of their cereal prices increased in just the past week. Canned fruit and veggies increased .10-.30 per can. Pasta sauce went up .30 per jar. Lunchmeat and bacon all went up significantly, as did bottled water.

Where I live in the UK prices have gone up this much on some items as well and some items have gone up even more.

The clothes washing liquid that I regularly buy has gone up by 33%.

A can of Princess corned beef has been £2.75 in my local Tesco for a while and so is due to go up again anytime now, was only a pound not very long ago.

I see myself turning to shoplifting soon as it is better than going without food.

Prices are going up world wide. Somethings here on the east coast of the US have doubled in the past year. Somethings have disappeared entirely.

We have every corner of our house packed with the stuff we wouldn't want to be without. Figure the investment has already beat stocks, bonds and pm's.

Won't be running out of food, tp, paper towels, toothbrushes, bic lighters, or dog food for a very long time just to name a few.

Even our fish are covered since we stocked up on fish mox as well.

Was at LiDL today and they still had the same prices.. LiDL lohnt sich. Hope they don't increase them like Aldi.

Lidl has risen prices for their cheapest pasta 500g already iver the last 2 weeks from 0,49 to 0,79 cents,Aldi as well.other supermarkets,too.

Oh, soccer matches,cinema and so on are full capacity again,so we get our circuses again and won't notice food inflation...
