What makes you think you'd be happy to finally have something you've lived your entire life without?

Simple. Because money really does buy happiness, and people who tell you otherwise simply want you to be poor, mindless peasants under their rule.

You see, it's not about the material things. It's not about buying a Ferrari or a bigger television or a diamond necklace for your wife. It's about INDEPENDENCE.

People longing for money are really longing for independence. If you are independently wealthy, you don't need to work 9 to 5 at some shit job that you hate for some jerk boss. You can pursue your true passions and hobbies. For me, that's focusing on my family and my homestead, growing food and raising animals. For someone else it might be learning to cook or becoming a pilot.

The point is, when you have money, which is what most people do not have but hope for to find happiness, you can go where you want, when you want, without limitations. Your time is YOURS and doesn't belong to your boss, your government, or anyone else.

My expectations have eroded over time.

Why the fuss for happiness?

Happiness has not been a part of the equation yet being and resonating in truth is my foundation and happiness is not lacking

As long as you aren’t a workaholic and never enjoy your money. But you don’t have to have a lot when you keep your life simple.

If you hadn't been happy your entire life, you may think it's because of something you didn't have.

There isn't an external goal. I'm just here, just being. I'm happy when the people around me are happy so I can be still, so that would be a goal if that was possible. There is nothing to achieve, the real work is done within. If I can build a better person then I'm making my neighbors happy and we can all relax.

Like everyone I spent years chasing things that would make me happy. Fine cars,hot girlfriends,nice house,expensive clothes and all the other crap people think they need,none of it worked. Closest I've got is a good dog. Makes me smile everyday.

I don't. I never waste my time with stupid stuff like that.
