the world is getting windier. this is the result of a warming climate. the birds will be the beneficiaries!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80807018

when i was looking for the ducks today, i was wondering if they have ducklings right now, and the part of the river behind my house is very open, so the wind whips, so i was thinking may be they went up river where there are more trees so the wind doesn't whip so hard.

may be it will get so windy in Antartica, the wind will pick up a penguin, and it will fly!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81097460

no doubt that chick penguins could go for a ride!

at the end of this scene the peguin with the kite goes flying!

the clean up needed would be substantial, more mexican gardeners needed! lol

i like that idea, but they will also probably have ai drone maintenance?

my cat grass hasn't even sprouted yet. i guess may be it wasn't getting enough sun, so i moved it out of my patio into the side yard.

i see dichondria all the time now, seems people have small patches of it around other plants.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81097460

dichondra is an excellent ground cover it does best when it can grow around other plants or fixed objects. it's stems are very fragile to extremes in temperature. the more protection the better.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80807018

every time i see it, i think it looks magical.

i can't imagine how magical a whole yard would be!

at one time i could grow a lush thick yard of dichondra, the last few summers are making it near impossible. too much water causes root rot too little water and the sun burns it up! the extremes make anything difficult to grow, as goes the world! lol

i suppose penguins do love fish, and the fish are in the water, and they are really good swimmers, so they can get a lot of fish!

i wonder if a duck and a penguin would make good friends.

"The sound of beak grinding is a telltale sign that a cockatiel is happy and relaxed. This is often accompanied by facial feathers that are fanned out over its beak and relaxed, fluffed body feathers. A sleepy cockatiel might grind its beak shortly before falling asleep."
