Quoting: American Indian Elder Small wonder though since the chickens are kept in deplorable situations and fed literally blood and manure. Eggs are still relatively cheap though if you want the store kind. I wouldn't eat them. "It's a friendly friendly world" (Andy Kaufman) Calm seas do not a sailor make, Nor easy horses, a horseman. Sounds like price gouging. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82621129 It is weird that it went higher in some spots. Could it be adjusted for cost of living? User ID: 80848634 United States 05/15/2022 07:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ruthless bird flu!... guess they're gonna be "vaccinating" the birds next??? Eggs is in everything.. cakes.. pancakes.. sweets.. and even animal food products???? Is any of this true? Is this just another method of getting the unvaccinated, 'vaccinated'?? just by eating eggs? $17.85 at my local grocery for 5 dozen large eggs... Expect that to go up over $20 any time soon.. It was once $6 to $8 a few months ago for the same 5 dozen of eggs. Isn't eggs protein, by the way? egg noun, often attributive Definition of egg (Entry 1 of 3) 1a : the hard-shelled reproductive body produced by a bird and especially by the common domestic chicken also : its contents used as food b : an animal reproductive body consisting of an ovum together with its nutritive and protective envelopes and having the capacity to develop into a new individual capable of independent existence Spread this awareness... if it becomes true. Now it's almost 20 bucks. Gal said every time a shipment comes in, the price goes up. When I drove OTR I got about 5 MPG of diesel. It's about $5.50 a gallon now. If I had to haul a 53' trailer from the west coast to the east coast today, it would cost me about THREE GRAND just in FUEL. But, by all means, let's shut down Keystone Pipeline and do all we can to destroy that BAD BAD PETROLEUM INDUSTRY, (which keeps us alive) We need MASS EXECUTIONS of LIBERALS and environMENTAL RETARDS. |

User ID: 83109129 United States 05/15/2022 08:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I only noticed this because my long-distance bf was visiting from AZ. I lived with him November pre PLANdemic till April of last year in AZ. I make breakfast for us and he typically has 3 eggs for breakfast and I have 2. We started buying the 60 pack of eggs in that time for around 5 and a half dollars. Quoting: DelusionsOfGranduer Obviously it went up in price due to inflation or whatever, and when he visited me in Colorado this mid-April we paid about 7 & a half dollars for 60 eggs. But he called me today while he was at Walmart and asked how much we paid for the eggs. I said 7 and some change. He said they were $14.68 there. I said no way. I double checked my Walmart store location and for my area in CO Springs it was $6.55 for 60 eggies. I checked his Walmart location and it was indeed over $14 for the same 60 eggs. Why is there such a huge markup for the same product? I’ve lived in Colorado for a long time. 12 years minus the year and a half in AZ. The cost of living here is ridiculous…but on average he pays more per gallon of gas (50 cents more than here) and eggs have now doubled in price there? He lives in Tucson, and I can’t help but wonder since it is more of a retirement town - if TPTB are trying to starve the old people. Eggs just doubled in price there? They are paying 5x the birdsong to kill them= shortage. I'm your Huckleberry! |
