My understanding of economics (limited as it is).

If a president presented a Treasury bond to the fed, the fed then creates and sells bond to cover the Treasury bond. The fed does not print cash and circulate it.

If the president then uses the new money/credit to buy trillions of dollars worth of weapons, that would not be inflationary.

Now if a president bans and destroys domestic oil production causing the prices to double that would be highly inflationary

And if a president gave out free money, lots of free money even if it is only 1 trillion dollars it would be the worst kind of inflation (even more so then 10 trillion on weapons) and that is just has been happening the past couple years with the covid scam.

Correct me if I am wrong but from what I have seen Trump put people to work and lowered the cost of energy, the Biden admin has done everything in its powers to destroy jobs and energy, and then pay people to stay home and get paid for it.

That being said the definition of inflation is more money chasing after finite goods and services.

This inflation is being caused by:

1) Stimulus checks
2) The covid pandemic causing a mass shortage of labor, pushing wages way up. In some cases doubling or tripling them.

Goods and services supply static to declining due to supply chain issues.

Result: High inflation. This is going on all over the world, not just the US.

The vast majority of printed money never made it directly into the economy.
