I lived in Philippines for a long time and Nissan was a great truck over there. Here in the US it is less expensive, but seems to be cheaper quality than the others in its class.

New explorer and expeditions are plagued with electronic issues

Escapes , Mavericks and baby bronco all suck too , suspension and electronic issues

F150s still can’t get the cam phaser and timing chain issues right lol ——-went with a heavier oil in there 5.0s

I really wanted the new Broncos to be good. It was such a good opportunity to put a dent in Jeep if done right. Same could be said of the mavs and rangers too, but they just threw everything they learned making dependable F150s (not the newer ones) out the window..

I have no need for a small truck, but thought it might be a niche they could do well in. Bronco is a serious disappointment though. I dont like Jeeps either though...

I still own a 2000 F150.

Never had a single problem with it mechanically, and I treat it like shit...

Once a year I take it to the dealership and say "Give it some oil, a tune-up, and check brakes and hoses".

Only thing wrong with it is just wear and tear, more the tear part...seats are all ripped, and have mexican blankets as seat covers. Shifter knob broke and stripped...fixed it with bubblegum. The cigarette lighter doesnt work (what an antique item!) and the ASHTRAY (yes they still had those) broke...which is sad because its also the drink holder, so I cant really have drinks in my car anymore except bottled water.

Paint has gone to shit on the hood, since I no longer park it in a garage, but the rest looks great as ever (I hose it down once a month.)

Best $13000 I ever spent (would cost me 30k or more to get a comparable new one these days Im guessing)

My 1999 Ford Expedition, replaced everything but the paint, wife saw me replace the starter and wiring harness in the rain before driving to work, she never forgot that image

RAM Laramie is my luxury car. Chevy trucks are the best by far though, if you really use a truck like on the ranch or farm.

Yeap, I have a quad cab 2010 Tacoma. Bought it brand new and It's been a great truck. The last new vehicle I have bought , probably the last new vehicle I will ever buy.

Guess who engineered so much of these things? People of color...that is why the endless design defects and problems

Boeing is also populated by engineers who are people of color...they are mostly incompetent and that is why they too are going broke with all their design defects

Toyota is more American made than most "American" brands.
