Very similar story with residential treatment centers for kids. I tried to make friends and got beat up. Got sent to one for the crime of attempting suicide after getting beat by my mom's black boyfriend until I couldn't stand. They put attempted suicides in there with kids who would stab you with a pencil without batting an eye. It's why I know that no one really cares about kids raped in orphanages. They don't care about adults raped in prisons, and orphanages are just prisons for kids.
