Who is ultimately responsible for what happens to the uterus? Not men.

Yes, but who ultimately decides to spread their legs and allow access to the uterus? Shouldn't the owner of the uterus be the responsible party for birth control if parenthood is unwanted? Condoms are the least effective form of birth control. Why leave it up to that if you are in fact a responsible uterus owner?
