Nobody is giving right of way of 4 way stop signs anymore

I’m convinced nobody ever knew what to do at a 4 way. I usually go by first in first through, second, third etc…Most of the time they all just sit there and I go through…fuck ‘em

Could not agree more. Been driving for decades w/no accidents ever. Every day I drive a local highway w/2 lanes on either side and there are multiple near misses and roadrage EVERY SINGLE morning and afternoon.

A few weeks ago I'm coming home and traffic is heavy. I'm doing 80+ in left lane and this idiot rides up on me so close I can't see his headlights. I'm going to move over and let him by just as soon as I pass a big truck in the right lane (in about 3 seconds). But Noooooo. Mr Impatient A-hole tries to pass on the right and shoot the gap btw me and the truck. He gambled and lost, pit maneuvering himself and spinning around 2-3x before going into the grass media. No idea how he didn't roll. My SUV had a broken headlight and needed a new bumper cover. His fancy lowered and tuned little Subaru was totaled and State Police ticketed him and assigned him 100% fault.

People are definitely angry and its showing in their driving.

Move to my town where everyone stops at a 4 way and either freezes in terror for a solid half hour or frantically waves at each other to go until someone finally inches through the intersection like they're driving across a rickety amazonian footbridge.

There are a lot of roads 70 mph and people go 15 over and if you don’t you’re an a hole to them so his story is legitimate.

The car there before me also had a car behind them.

But I reached the intersection before the car that was waiting behind another car.

But he assumed because he was already waiting behind another car he could go!
