Russia has food and energy. EU and USA are short on both and will get into severe trouble the next months.

I think this is somewhat true. Russia still has access to cheap goods from China and other parts of Asia as well as trading Oil and gas.

The Russian people are stoic, the youngsters familiar with the actions and stories of the old. But no doubt this war is hurting Russians, seeing all the death of their young soldiers and conscripts. With the high energy prices, the Russian economy should be slightly buffered, their military industry show-casing weapon systems in actual combat conditions may also get a future boost.

So Putin isn't 'missing' like he was yesterday?
