But MPX is NOT transmissible within the incubation period....and trust me, NO ONE will want to get close to someone who's in a full outbreak of that...Their symptoms will not be subtle compared to Covid which were identical to the flu.

If this strain is airborne then it spread by people who were well enough to walk and commute, no way this outbreak is caused by touching or being near people sick on a bed with boils. The same situation in december 2019 to march 2020 is happening right now, people are out and about globally and most are not wearing masks. Crap hit the fan already.
