It makes sense that some in Russian want this. They felt powerful, respected and feared during the Soviet era. Throwing off their tri-color flag is sort of like tossing out your ex girlfriend's clothese and stuff after the break up. The other Russian communist flags featured in Ukraine are different, those represent victory over the nassies.
