Is it possible to bring gold across the border from Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar? Does Thailand impose any taxes when bringing gold into the country? I wouldn’t mind living in Northern Thailand. Beautiful country, nice people, great food and motorcycling. |

The last week they are all out of 20g gold bars. The only option is <=1g or 1KG, what the fuck is going on? Quoting: Dogma! 83306519 We contacted the one of the largest retail suppliers in Thailand. They have shut down all there shops, only option is to visit HQ Mon-Fri and they are no longer selling on their website. We are struggling to find anyone selling more than 1g. What's up with that? Just about the same scenario in Turkey with BUYERS going out and spending all their accumulated Turkish Lira, Dollars, Pounds, and Euro's on a guarantee of having real money in-hand for the coming BAD TIMES. Although the normal Gold content is 22 Karat, Jewelers are reporting the stock in hand is anything from 14, 16, 18 21, up to 22 Karat but that sneaky folks are debasing the coins that normally are available. Pure Gold at 24 K is like totally unavailable, and about the only thing left is 1 gram pieces. hasan |

YLG Precious doesn't even have 96.5 bars larger than 1g for sale. They keep saying because of the situation, but fail to elaborate. |
