"Don't hurt him you motherfucker!" then they turned on me. She already had old bruises on her too. And she called the cops, and they came and put me under arrest for assault and battery. My word against theirs, so now I need an attorney to untangle this mess for being a decent human being and coming to the rescue of a woman in distress. I also made the cops take pics of her bruises after I pointed them out. No one saw the incident but the three of us since it was in the parking area away from main traffic. I'm 100% done helping any woman in distress after this incident. Chivalry is indeed dead now to me. It's probably going to cost me more than the 5k, I have the money but that's not the point.  You've got to learn to recognize foreplay among masochists. Yeah there's a healthy slug of that in shit like this too unfortunately. Another thing, and I hate to say this ... But Women are shockingly durable. They can take beatings that would leave a man down for the count and walk away fine. People, especially men, need to recalibrate their views on what the right response to incidents like this are. The reality is what op did was stupid and just as likely to get him killed hurt or arrested in 1922 as it was in 2022. What he did wouldn't have flown then either. OP sadly has main character syndrome to one degree or another. Main character syndrome is nice short hand for op seeing themselves as the star of the show and on tv the big tough main character stopping a domestic incident gets the girl and at minimum a handjob for his troubles. Women deserve to get smacked around. Same thing happened to my friend. Saw some guy roughing up his girl on the side of the road. They had a flat tire and she was bitching him out while he tried to change it. My friend pulls over, gets on the guy and the bitch hits my friend with the tire iron. He turns around, punches her out and kicks her bf to keep him down. Gets in his car and comes to work to tell us about it. FUCK WOMEN! They deserve every bit of abuse they have coming to them. |
