How Bout a 3 Day Ban on AC's

Yeah, I could do way better at monetizing this site if making money from it were my main objective.

Obviously it's not.

I have many business that I run.

I actually take steps to restrict the growth of GLP at times because it becomes unmanageable...

Also the bigger GLP gets the more risk operating it entails.

I have to weight that carefully at all times.

It's a labor of love, believe me.

It's my hobby.

It's like its own entity to me...

I don't really own it or control it....

I'm like its parent...

I have a fairly unique set of skills and resources required to protect, educate, and nurture it..

Eventually it will outgrow me :)

It's not that hard to not be an AC. IF not ban them, then assault them with ads to make it tougher sledding.

I’ll sign up as a member the day this site drops all the censorship. Banning for threats, p*rn and illegal things is understandable. Everything else is obnoxious.

I spent 25 minutes typing up a well thought out and articulated response to someone last week only for me to be banned for one of the mile long list of no-no words that no one can even keep up with because it constantly changes and has to be kept secret for some strange reason. The second I hit post, I got banned.

Ridiculous.

I’m not by any means saying it should be a free for all site. This place would be chaos if that happened.

I’m just saying the censorship is a bit out of control. At least offering a warning telling us what we aren’t allowed to say after hitting post so I can edit my thoughts and resend it would be nice.

I’ll give a good example. We can’t type out the B word that refers to people older than 60. It’s not even an offensive word but censoring people for it doesn’t make any sense. Nowhere else on the internet does that kind of stuff.

Not being allowed to mention other websites is pretty ridiculous too. It’s not even gonna direct any traffic away from this site. GLP has a certain charm to it that no one else can replicate.
