RIP -- a Eulogy for my Mums

i have often joked that if you feel regret, it's too late!

so when mums was very ill, i made the time to do the five hour drive as often as possible to see her before the end.. and i'm so glad i did. while i'm sad that she's gone, i can honesty say i feel no regret.

you're being a dick, but that's ok.

true story, back in high school, it was hyper religious family. i smuggled a tape of AC/DC into my home which included this very song on it! mums found it and i had to listen to a very long lecture (it was her way) about how demons come from miles around to that sort of music. i think she meant well.

I hope you find peace now in those quiet hours and what remains are the best of her memories.

Light across the Sea

Sometimes your life just crashes

My condolences for you and your family and what a beautiful eulogy you made for her.

Your mom sounds like a beautiful soul and an enterprising, independent personality that made an everlasting impact on everyone that had the privilege to be in her life and I am convinced she will continu to shine up there in Heaven and at the same time be living on in your hearts forever.
