QUITO, June 19 (Reuters) - Hundreds of indigenous people entered Ecuador's capital Quito on Sunday, following almost a week of protests against the economic and social policies of President Guillermo Lasso, who has not been able to lift road blocks and violence across the country.

Indigenous protesters arrived in trucks, cars, and on foot amid a state of exception declared by Lasso in three provinces - including that of Quito - in a bit to curb protests that have at times seen violence, with police captured, and attacks on oil industry and flower farms.

More protesters were still making their way towards the city, according to a Reuters witness.

Protests began on Monday with a list of 10 demands, including a fuel price cut, preventing further expansion of Ecuador's oil and mining industry, and more time for small and medium sized farmers to pay their debts. [link to finance.yahoo.com (secure)]

Everything they are asking for is totally unreasonable in light of global pressures. They are just not intelligent enough to understand what is going on globally, so they bitch and riot and ask for free handouts (AKA "loans"). F their loans. What makes them so special? If they were really indigenous they wouldn't use gasoline, cars and trucks. They are sellouts. They asking for special privileges.

Cuenca, a city of 500,000...has become somewhat of a food desert during June. The reason, farm-to-market transportation issues.

Also at the same time, the indigenous people of Ecuador (those living in the Amazon rainforest not far from the capitol Quito) have been staging an uprising. Now, this really isn't such a big deal as the indigenous people have an uprising against the government every few years or so.

But this time things might turn out different and might not settle back into normal conditions. We'll see.

These violent protests in Ecuador (and Sri Lanka) are what the Globalists want happening in as many countries as possible. They want a summer of rage. The global chaos will then usher in the need for a Great Reset and a One World Government to deal with the out of control economic and societal problems.
