First of all, in SJW terms, I could be considered an "ally" of men. I really feel like they have been shafted and I stand up for them all the time. Western men have been neutered and destroyed on almost every level. I fart when I walk by the Girl Scout's cookie table.

But my question is simple. Why, in the 70's, did young and old men cede power? I suspect they thought they were ceding power to their female counterparts, so maybe access to sex was a consideration?
