Re: To Christians .. regarding the Holy Spirit.
I am a Christian in the sense that I believe Christ died for my sins and I am told I am indwelled with the Holy Spirit but I do not fill filled with the Holy Spirit. How does one know for sure? I still sin and ask for forgiveness.. I want the Holy Spirit to possess me.
 Quoting: TheWorldsEnemy

Read the word and grow, sometimes you might notice the bible "speaks" to you, you can hear God speak trough people aswell, you get wisdom and light noone can say anything against and you notice it easily if you engage in debates because before you could be wrong since you didnt have the spirit of truth, but now you do. And if its something you dont know the answer to right away, God will give you the answer either trough revelation or show it to you if you search - he will lead you to ALL truth.

Sometimes the Holy spirit can a bit like when you before you were saved was walking around in a dark room, you couldnt see anything but the Holy spirit is the light that shines up the room so now you can see everything.

I had this right away when I got saved, if i had a question i got the answer on the first page i randomly opened the bible at and looked, and it was like that over and over, it was like God literally SPOKE trough his word. I was shocked in a good way, how God does this I dont think can be explained, its a miracle. The WORD is ALIVE.
 Quoting: Just†Me

Yes! The same thing happened to me. I ask God a question and close my eyes and open my Bible to a random page and there was the answer. This happened over and over again.

I told my pastor about it, and he smiled and said that was the Holy Spirit guiding me, and that it is quite common if you are a believer who is earnestly seeking knowledge.

He also said not to be dismayed if it stops happening after a while because that just means God took the training wheels off and now you must grow.

tip: if you experience spiritual warfare, make a habbit of reading the bible out loud.

One more thing that churches refuse to discuss or warn new believers:

Satan is going to come at you hard!

You see, he doesn't like losing. And the fact that you just became born again, means he lost one. So, he is going to do everything he can to drag you back into your pit of sinful behavior.

So new Christians, be alert! I am not trying to scare you, I am trying to warn you so you will be prepared to Fight For God!

the holy spirit is a christian lie that is covering up the real stuff.

If you have one.. you are indwelled by the Spirit of the Father.. and you communicate with that thru meditation

you do not get a "holy spirit" when you join a church and get baptized and that Spirit of Truth was poured out on all flesh

I hate to say it like this, but you will always sin. There is no man without sin, but there once was - Jesus Christ. And that's the only one.

This is never taught in churches, and man do they dislike it when I have brought it up.

But it's the truth. We are born into sin and will die sinners. The only difference is IF CHRIST'S BLOOD SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS covers your sins or not. That's up to you.

I am not telling you sin is okay, in fact I hate it. But I am telling you that if you believe that an innocent sinless man came and took all sin; past, present, and FUTURE and nailed it to the cross then your sin is covered.

That's called grace.

Without that, God will not even be able to look at you and you'll never be good enough.
 Quoting: FightForGod!

no errors are not sins.... that needs to be unstood.. you are not perfected enough to have experienced enough to not make errors... People blow things off too that are sin.. but once they comprehend WHy.. thy have forgiven themselves. God always forgives before you ask.. but the forgivenous does not manifest until you learn why.

That is all. Humans are horribly imperfect in their younger evolutions.. time causes one to learn the shy.

Anal sex by anybody is DANGEROUS AS HELL. That is its a sin per se. its the leading cause i fact in some women unable to either get pregnant or miscarry... is anal sex. Sperm is foreign tissue and the only place it belongs is in a vagina. Period.. not the mouth. you guys who love her to swallow it are putting HER at risk...

sperm can cause allergic reactions or even all the way to an autoimmune disorder in the person RECEIVING and it matters not if its the mouth or the rectum. also anal sex tends to be a power d rive.. not exactly holy either. I would give a blow job for example on a very clean dick... never one that has been passed around... and I would NOT swallow and if there are mouth sores.. its not good either.

there are holy reasons to not do this. sex with kids is NEVER OK and very unholy violating the childs right and more.

In marriage a man or a woman does not demand sex for favors.. Gimme a nice blow job and you get a new dress is not holy...

sex is for LOVE. You women are often raised to be prostitutes by expecting you must give sex for gifts and a cleaning lady or whatever or the bills paid. you have sold yourself and that the man is your husband has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. It is for love between the two of you. and when a couple wants a child.. sex IN LOVE will bring a better baby. Than rape or being pressured for a present of something. A baby conceived in a loving act and nurtured in the womb with nice music.. daddy talking to the child and all that brings a child into love.

Re: To Christians .. regarding the Holy Spirit.
I wrote you about watchman Nee. You might like to watch cs lewis doodle channel, go to the playlist and choose "on Christianity". If you don't know already, Lewis was one of the best Christian apologists who ever defended the faith. He started out atheist and gradually through reason discovered atheism makes no sense. The book " on Christianity" is very good too, but the guy doing the doodle channel has a gift straight from God. He delivers it so well.

One of the most important parts of being a Christian is being able to answer all the hard questions about our faith to ourselves. Then we can do it for others. But it makes the faith rock solid for the times when the storms of life beat us to hell. Churches and most people who believe never ever dare to look the questions in the eye because they're afraid of what it might mean(the answers aren't easy and it requires self examination, people want to continue being worldly). But God tells us to test everything.

Someone said not every human has the spirit within them. I'm sorry they do not think so. But even the satanic baby sacrificer at some point in their lives denied the holy spirit. We are all born with a universal sense of moral code that comes straight from the spirit, and through choices we stifle or edify it.

I did say human. The Bible makes no promises about any other being.

I hope that you enjoy Nee! I'm glad you ordered his books. Take it slow, nourish your spirit. The sermon on the mount is also an excellent thing to be very familiar with. It is every thing every Christian needs, with zero fluff. If you had nothing else from the Bible it would be enough. Keith Daniel fully memorized and delivered it impressively but many have done it. You can watch him on YouTube. I'm not sure if I can link that here without getting banned, everything seems to make a ban happen for me...

And for listening, look up Ravenhill. He is my most favorite, no nonsense preacher. Has an odd voice that takes getting used to though.

We were made in God's image yes, but you have no understanding whatsoever of Who the Holy Spirit is, His work or His ministry. Christ sends Him to believers only, not to satanic baby sacrificers etc. He certainly does not reside inside the demon possessed.

I certainly hope that the OP reads the bible and understands that the Holy Spirit comes by faith in Christ and no other way.

Look up: The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit
Look up: The seven sacraments of the Church
Look up: The fifteen promises of the holy Rosary

I would highly encourage devotion to the Rosary, you do not have to be Catholic to pray this. Knowing these things will help you in your journey.

God bless

Here is the complete Scriptural Rosary, but just begin with the first series, which is the Joyful Mysteries (in the lives of Our Lord and His Mother). It should take about 20 minutes.

 Quoting: J+M+J

Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

I'm assuming you're baptized. You need to pray to "know" the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will "lift you" to a higher understanding and you will then feel the Spirit's fulfillment. There is a physical feeling of fulfillment. Some people have been "chosen" in some kind of a spiritual event that happens in their lives, but the rest of us need to pray our way to being lifted.

It also helps to read about the life of Jesus. Read the New Testament as you pray for this.

No you shouldnt, directing prayers to Mary is idolatry.

Pray always to God, if you pray to Mary, saints etc you are comitting sin ... I usually also pray in the name of Jesus Christ (John 16:23)
 Quoting: Just†Me

When I first started praying the rosary, I received an outpouring of the holy spirit two weeks after praying for the intention of feeling love for God. It was a beautiful and life changing experience that definitely came from God. If the rosary was sinful, God would not have answered my prayer in this powerful way.

The term “vain repetition” only appears in Protestant bibles, which are corrupt. Not all repetition is vain, anyway; there are many biblical instances of repetitive prayer (Matthew 26:44, Revelation 4:8, Psalm 136, Daniel 3: 52-87, In Deuteronomy 6:4-7).
