To fully appreciate this threat, if they were to send over just one of their new RS-28 Sarmat ICBMs they can carry a payload of 10 MIRVs with a blast yield of 750 kT each, or 24 smaller MIRVs. Depending on the launch site many can hit London in under 30 minutes from launch. They fly fast and low, we don't have anything remotely close to the technical capabilities needed to take one of these things out. 1 US ballistic missile sub can wipe out Russia. Yawn. |
