Spreading the Word to my little Judaea. Quoting: NoFriendOfTheWorld It wasn't too difficult. Bought an FM Transmitter, followed some youtube instructions on setting it up. Created a playlist in Windows Media Player containing the full KJV Audio Bible and clicked play. Nothing fancy. The signal has a radius of almost a mile. I'm hoping at least some people will pick it up and benefit from it. I don't have an impressive skillset, but I'm decent at following instructions. We Christians should be using whatever skills/resources we have to bring glory to the God of Heaven. If you have people skills, use them to talk to your neighbors and others about Christ. I most definitely need much improvement in that area. If you have tech skills, explore ways of utilizing them to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. We all have gifts (one or many), and we should try to find out what they are and use them for God's glory. Time is short. Blessings in Christ God bless you, buddy. You, might wanna check FCC regs, however, as this current government is pretty much anti-Christian. [link to www.radioworld.com (secure)] |

Watch it with FM. Keep your transmit power way down, anything more than 200 feet of range on FM can get you a visit from an FCC field agent. They wont fine you the first visit. Just a warning. If your rural its less of a worry. You can broadcast on AM with the legal 100 millawatts and get a mile or two legally under part 15 of FCC regulations. Chez procaster is what i use. FCC certified and legal so no worries. |

Yes your safer on AM but still can't have a decent antenna. FCC would love to shut down AM all together. |

The best think this nation could ever do would be abolish the FCC along with all the other unconstitutional agencies. Keep it on AM. Dont play anything with profanity. Pick an open frequency, and make sure to ID your station at the top of every hour as a part 15 low power station. Grounding is key with AM. Antenna dont make a big difference in comparison to proper grounding in my area anyway. |

Try it. For good audio I use a free program called desk FX which allows you to compress, equalize, and add reverb or echo and make other audio adjustments so that it sounds good. A hint of echo and reverb does wonders for the listening experience. |
