ill go a lil deeper here, no such thing as old testament god, he walked a mile through jesus's shoes for "it" to understand what people wemt through. "doesnt say that either but my interpretation".

and also, its not fair to discredit every other religious sect on the planet and just say the christian god is the true god, they believe their gods are the true gods, same as did back when zeus, a lil further, odin, etc etc. further back brahma.

It's called free will. Although they do intervene from time to time.

the great flood happened in every religious text, and almost every religious text, ties it into their god creating it. "which was more than likely a comet hitting the earth and creating tidal floods.

the main question is, why would god allow such a catastrophe to exist or happen. we are not born with sin "no matter what the bible tells you". why wouold god allow such a place as hell to exist "i dont believe it does", i can believe in heaven but not hell. punishing someone is a very dictatorial way of thinking,.

Real World examples of getting stupid people to curse themselves and the places they are at.

1. New Orleans (lots of voodoo there that lets less protection from creator)
2. France has lots of voodoo too and Haiti?
3. Ice bucket challenge was actually isis baptism where naives thought nothing of what they participated in.
4. etc.

thats an interesting thought about the ice bucket. true too, the power of thought can easily outweigh "known science" such as mothers lifting kids from under cars etc.

We are all willing participants in the ongoing test of consciousness here on this young planet, a test of light and dark energies.

That is, blessed with free will and a self-imposed veil to keep us believing we are separated from God, then how will we behave if left only with minimal divine intervention.

Will we choose to learn from our mistakes and grow up spiritually (light), or will we continue to dwell comfortably making mistakes (dark).

To respect our free will and forge a world that is uniquely ours, God will not obtrusively intervene and will instead subtlely guide and comfort us.
