Here's something else the Government and mainstream media in the UK are hiding from you.

Most of the Gas coming into the UK is now being sent to the EU. Due to the war in Ukraine the UK is acting as a transit nation sending over 50% of the Gas coming in on to the EU.

The gas comes in at LNG terminals (from US,etc), from the UK's own rigs in north sea and via the Norway pipeline. (Do some googling about this and you will find the articles confirming this in the Gas industry news)

This is the way the Gas market works in Europe, the UK cannot just use this gas without some sort of emergency declaration which would come with political fallout with the European Union. The UK would be seen as stealing their Gas!

So here is my prediction for this winter, a European wide industrial lockdown to preserve Gas. This will include the UK acting in solidarity with the EU27 - billed as to support Ukraine war against Russia.

This is the only way Europe can survive winter without Russian Gas.

Truss is pro-EU which is why they want her installed as PM as she will stand by the EU27 even if it screws the UK economically.

Somalia is the biggest importer of food from Ukraine, expect 10,000,000 Muslim Somalians to head to Europe in the next 12-24 months due to hunger/disease.

The UK has plenty of Somalians, only 10% of them who can work legally have a full time job.

The UK is not a nice place to be poor by first world standards, society as a whole has no sympathy and people who receive benefits are usually looked down on as "scroungers" who are "gaming" the system, despite the fact UK benefits are a pittance compared to most first world countries.

And the DWP especially has this cynical view of claimants, and is always looking for the slightest excuse to stop benefits and prosecute for a perceived "overpayment".

I was mighty pissed this morning when I checked my bank account and saw the council have taken double the usual amount for tax this month - £420! - no idea why, all payments up to date. I'm going to be an absolute Karen on the phone to them on Monday.

Foe the last 5 years I paid around £50 a month, no gas usage, just electric. Now I pay £190 a fucking month. Can't keep it up.
