The FBI and local police agencies teamed up to rescue five adolescents and nine potential human trafficking victims across Los Angeles County as part of “Operation Cross Country.” Nationwide, the sexual exploitation crackdown netted at least 85 suspects facing charges of human trafficking or the sexual exploitation of children, according to the FBI.
