One Year After in Costa Rica: Respiratory Viruses in Children to the Moon
About a year ago Costa Rica announced mandatory COVID vaccinations for all children under 12.

Today they announce:

“The Intensive Care Unit is full; of the 27 beds, 16 are occupied by children with severe respiratory infections, five of which are due to covid,” said Dr. Arguedas.

Given the situation, the pediatric hospital activated a contingency plan to set up critical care beds in areas outside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the Emergency Room, and the hospitalization rooms of the Department of Medicine."

Moved out during Covid when they went nazi on everyone and everything. Couldn’t even go to the beach alone. Florida will get my money from now on.

Quite a shame. Beautiful country where you could be free. Expats discovered CR back in the 70s. It was amazing.

I am in CR, first I have heard of this.
This country is very highly vaxxed.
I have been watching for deaths of soccer players, pilots, younger people here, but I haven't seen anything so far.
However they have declared an endemic here, constantly 35-40 deaths per week, constant hospitization covid occupancy, and a consistent number of ICU patients.
Population here is said to be 5.1 million, 93% first Vax, 82% second and plenty of third and fourth vaxxed also.

Thanks for checking in. I used to live in CR. Blew my mind when they were one of the first countries to announce mandatory vax for kids under 12. I know many expats who were living there with their kids. They gtfo and went to Nicaragua and Panama .
People who go there to live are generally freedom loving, red-pilled people who checked out of Europe and the US/Canada for a reason.

Re: One Year After in Costa Rica: Respiratory Viruses in Children to the Moon
The government in Costa Rica has lifted the mandate on jabbing the kids. That was two weeks ago or so, if I remember right.

Well, the original post could be the reason why, although it remains to be officially verified as a reason right now.

There is heavy demand for health services. There have been long, daily lines into public clinics for months now.

The citizenry in CR are robust, for the most part. They were at least, very healthy and strong before the mandates.

But they could be in the same boat as many others around the world. Healthy, strong...but now carrying VAIDS. It is true that CR's adult citizenry flocked in for at least two rounds of jabs...+90% compliance.

The population of children from six months to 4 years will receive three doses. The second will be applied three weeks after the first and the third at 8 weeks.

Costa Rica has about 5.1 million inhabitants in the country. The authorities' herd immunity target is about 4,274,300 fully-vaccinated people over 12 years old. So far, the country requires about 85,660 people to get their second dose to reach herd immunity.

Totally stupid, herd immunity has nothing to do with vaccines. But, the sheeple eat it up.
