ofcourse we know they should expect Jesus return to take a LONG time, since Matthew 24:14 says:

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
 Quoting: Just†Me

Even Paul tauht 'the gospel of the kingdom'.

Who was Jesus's earthly ministry to Satan?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84236177

'Lost sheep of Israel FIRST'.

Yet to even the Gentiles.

Luke 2

27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and aid,

29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

32 A light to lighten the Gentiles,

and the glory of thy people Israel.

......

Jesus sent the Apostles to ALL nations.

'Paul only for gentiles' is WRONG.

Show us, ..... where ANYONE but Paul refers to the body of Christ?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81661130

How about YOU show us even ONE verse that says....

...'the church' is removed BEFORE the Tribulation'.

You can't - it doesn't exist.

You people make up 'explanations' for various other verses in a failed attempt to prove your falst doctrine.
 Quoting: Servant-of-the-LORD

yet you can't answer ONE, SIMPLE question?
Why, because you know the answer...

Show us, Satan, where ANYONE but Paul refers to the body of Christ?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84236177

Is Christ divided? NOPE.

The 'body of Christ isn't just gentiles.

SAME Gospel to ALL.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the J-Hebrew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the J-Hebrew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither J-Hebrew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor J-Hebrew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

.....

You haven't been 'shown' anything.

All your predecessors did was take the 'Christ's retrun is immenent' and made up a 'story'.

YALL RAPTURE-TARDS THINK YOUR MORE SPECIAL & IMPORTANT THAN JESUS, THAT GOD WILL JUST WISK YOU AWAY FROM BEING TRIED/TEMPTED TO SEE WHAT YOUR MADE OF..
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76230169

Rapture is a false doctrine. Jesus comes back one time and that is the day of the Lord. Many will fall away when the antichrist comes and they haven't been raptured...they won't see him as the antichrist bc they are still here. Jesus said he would not drink til we were all together again...all...no party til he comes back to earth. Read the Word it's all in there. Who are the huge mass of people John sees in heaven?? People killed during the tribulation...if believers were raptured John would definitely see much less. The Thessalonian verse people like to quote is about believers who have passed away. Jesus prayed...Father I ask that you take them not out of the world...but keep them safe from the evil one. Mic drop

" He came unto his own, and his own received him not."

" These twelve did Jesus send forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into the cities of the Samaritans enter ye not:"

" Now I say, that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision, for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers."

Jesus was praying for the priesthood. Where does ANYONE but Paul address the body of Christ?

Re: The satanic masoretic rapture futurist dispensational flatearth jesuit papist doctrines & AntiScriptural day setting YAHshua return
What Did Ancient Church Fathers Believe About Great tribulation, the catching away into the wilderness of Revelation chapter 12 and the second coming of YAHshua our Lord, Elohim and Savior?

Here is a scripture describing YAHshua second coming.

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

What did the first century church fathers believe about the this? Did they believe pre-tribulation , mid -tribulation or post-tribulation? What did the disciples of the Apostles of YAHshua Christ teach about the catching away?

This article will present the writings of the early church fathers – from those who learned under the disciples of YAHshua Christ, to the church leaders of the second and third centuries, on the catching away – the supernatural preservation of all obedient Bible-believing Christians on Earth who come out of Babylon the great, to be safe in the wilderness of Revelation chapter12, just as Israel of old was caught away from Pharaoh and Egypt.

While the writings of the first, second and third century Christian church fathers are not Scripture and not on par with the Bible in any way, it is informative to see how the early church leaders interpreted Scripture in addition to what they learned directly from those closest to The Lord YAHshua Christ.
And definitively, the few writings still in existence on the end times, put the timing of the catching away as just before the Great Tribulation. This article will also serve to dispel some of the satanic misconceptions, deception and lies about Rapture theology .

The satanic rapture doctrines in English speaking countries was invented in the 19th century by a man named John Darby.

“John Darby Invented The Pre-Tribulation Rapture”

All over the internet there are many articles and videos that expose that the satanic Rapture doctrine was “invented” in 1830 by a man named John Darby. The following is an excerpt that summarizes this truth:

“The Rapture doctrine, which was the invention of the Plymouth Brethren led by John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), has today been adopted by most Baptist, Pentecostals, Assemblies of God, and a variety of other fundamentalist sects. The idea that YAHshua Christ will return for His true Church just before the beginning of the Great Tribulation in a secret gathering or “catching away” was an important part of Darby’s teaching. The movement in which this teaching began originated in small groups in England and Ireland about 1828 and by 1831 was part of the official teaching of the Plymouth Brethren. By 1860 the “satanic rapture doctrine” had made its way to the United States.

Today, prophecy pundits and “end-time” revivalists preach the Rapture as if it were established dogma from the time of Christ until the present. The truth is that the first historical reference to the Rapture doctrine comes from the Plymouth Brethren. Not only is the Rapture not found in the teachings of the Church, but even “end-time” heretics throughout the centuries never dreamed of proposing such a novel idea. For example, the 4th century Montanists, who preached both pre-millennialism and that they knew when Christ would return, never ventured so far as to create another secret coming of the Lord in a secret satanic rapture doctrine.

In all the writings of the Scriptures, the Early Fathers, and the Ecumenical Councils, there is no mention of a secret return of Christ.” .

In short, it is evident that rather than being a real part of the Bible, the entire idea of any satanic rapture doctrines pre, mid , post or any other Rapture, was introduced into the English speaking countries as an invention by Darby and “not even heretics” ever used it.

This is very strong language, Were there any ancient Christian writings about the church being secretly satanicly Raptured before the Great Tribulation? No they continually speak about taking away and then the Second Coming of The Lord YAHshua.

An examination of early church writings shows that this charge is correct and there were no early church fathers who wrote about the satanic Rapture doctrines, where as they did write about the catching away and second coming.

Irenaeus

Irenaeus (130 A.D. – 202 AD) was a bishop of the church in Lyons, France. He was an eyewitness to the Apostle John (who wrote the Book of Revelation) and a disciple of Polycarp, the first of the Apostle John’s disciples. Irenaeus is most-known for his five-volume treatise, Against Heresies in which he exposed the false religions and cults of his day along with advice for how to share the Gospel with those were a part of them.

In his writings on Bible prophecy, he acknowledged the phrase “a time, times and dividing of times” in Daniel 7 to signify the 3 ½ year reign of the Antichrist as ruler of the world before the Second Coming of Christ. He also believed in a literal Millennial reign of Christ on earth following the taking away and then Second Coming and the resurrection of the just.

On the subject of the catching away, in Against Heresies 5.29, he wrote:

“Those nations however, who did not of themselves raise up their eyes unto heaven, nor returned thanks to their Maker, nor wished to behold the light of truth, but who were like blind mice concealed in the depths of ignorance, the word justly reckons “as waste water from a sink, and as the turning-weight of a balance — in fact, as nothing;”(1) so far useful and serviceable to the just, as stubble conduces towards the growth of the wheat, and its straw, by means of combustion, serves for working gold. And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, “There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.”(2) For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.”

Irenaeus in this passage describes the church leaving the sinful world into the wilderness of revelation chapter 12 just before unprecedented disasters. Note his use of the term “caught up” which has nothing to do with the satanic Rapture terminology lies, as the meaning of harpazo, the term for “caught up” in the King James Bible is described in 1 Thessalonians 4.
He then quotes Matthew 24:21 where The Lord YAHshua Christ says: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”  In Irenaeus’ belief, the catching away took place prior to the end times Great Tribulation.

Cyprian
Cyprian (200 AD – 258 AD) – Cyprian was Bishop of the church in Carthage. During his short stint as leader of the church, he guided the flock through intense persecution at the hands of the Roman Empire. In 258 AD after spending seven months of confinement to his home by order of Roman authorities, he was beheaded for his faith. Several of his works still exist today.

In Treatises of Cyprian he wrote in describing the end times Great Tribulation:

“We who see that terrible things have begun, and know that still more terrible things are imminent, may regard it as the greatest advantage to depart from it as quickly as possible. Do you not give God thanks, do you not congratulate yourself, that by an early departure you are taken away, and delivered from the shipwrecks and disasters that are imminent? Let us greet the day which assigns each of us to his own home, which snatches us hence, and sets us free from the snares of the world and restores us to paradise and the kingdom.”

Again we see no use of language commonly found in reference to the satanic Rapture doctrines, as Cyprian describes the judgments of the end times as “imminent.” And he makes his belief on the timing of the preservation of the church in the wilderness when he wrote that Christians will have an “early departure” and be “delivered” from the devastating global judgments that come during the Day of YHVH

In line with the Apostle Paul who wrote that “Elohim has not appointed us to wrath, but salvation..” Cyprian expressed joy and encourages the believing reader to rejoice that the Church will be “taken away” before the disastrous Great Tribulation. Just as The Lord YAHshua Christ in Matthew 24 used the same language of one “taken away” and the other “left.” Additionally Cyprian references the mansions which The Lord YAHshua Christ promises to come back and take His believers to in John 14.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in Elohim, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” – John 14:1-3.

In both the Matthew 24 passages (“one taken, the other left”) and in John 14 (“..receive you unto myself..”) the Greek work paralambanō is used for taken and receive. Clearly Cyprian believed and taught that the taking away takes place before the Great Tribulation.

Ephraim The Syrian

Ephraim (306 AD – 373 AD) was made a deacon in the church in Syria in 338 and later became the bishop of Nisibis. Although he was made a “saint” in the Roman Catholic Church, he was not involved in Catholicism and did not even live in the Roman Empire until the final years of his life. The book Pseudo Ephraim was one of his still existing works. It was called “Pseudo” because of later dispute over authorship. However the book’s one reference to the taking away is very compelling:

In his work, On The Last Times 2, he wrote:

“We ought to understand thoroughly therefore, my brothers, what is imminent or overhanging. Already there have been hunger and plagues, violent movements of nations and signs, which have been predicted by the Lord, they have already been fulfilled (consummated), and there is not other which remains, except the advent of the wicked one in the completion of the Roman kingdom. Why therefore are we occupied with worldly business, and why is our mind held fixed on the lusts of the world or on the anxieties of the ages? Why therefore do we not reject every care of worldly business, and why is our mind held fixed on the lusts of the world or on the anxieties of the ages? Why therefore do we not reject every care of earthly actions and prepare ourselves for the meeting of the Lord Christ, so that he may draw us from the confusion, which overwhelms all the world? Believe you me, dearest brother, because the coming (advent) of the Lord is nigh, believe you me, because the end of the world is at hand, believe me, because it is the very last time.

Or do you not believe unless you see with your eyes? See to it that this sentence be not fulfilled among you of the prophet who declares: “Woe to those who desire to see the day of YHVH!” For all the saints and elect of Elohim are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins. And so, brothers most dear to me, it is the eleventh hour, and the end of the world comes to the harvest, and angels, armed and prepared, hold sickles in their hands, awaiting the empire of the Lord. And we think that the earth exists with blind infidelity, arriving at its downfall early. Commotions are brought forth, wars of diverse peoples and battles and incursions of the barbarians threaten, and our regions shall be desolated, and we neither become very much afraid of the report nor of the appearance, in order that we may at least do penance; because they hurl fear at us, and we do not wish to be changed, although we at least stand in need of penance for our actions!”

With a sense of urgency and strong warning, Ephraim writes that the end times are upon this world and could start at any moment. This text very clearly states the saints and elect of Elohim, all born again believers in The Lord YAHshua Christ, will be “taken to the Lord” before the Great Tribulation. Ephraim also identifies the scripture “Day of YHVH” and the end times Great tribulation as the same event

( Ephraim quotes Amos 5:18 which says: “Woe unto you that desire the day of YHVH ! to what end is it for you? the day of YHVH is darkness, and not light.”

The point he makes is that a Christian should know the Day of YHVH is coming. In the first part of the passage Ephraim notes that:
“We ought to understand thoroughly therefore, my brothers, what is imminent or overhanging. Already there have been hunger and plagues, violent movements of nations and signs, which have been predicted by the Lord, they have already been fulfilled (consummated)” And not only that but that true Christians will be taken away before it starts.
These are the same end times signs YAHshua Christ describes in Matthew 24:

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And YAHshua answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. – Matthew 24:3-8.

YAHshua describes these events as “the beginning of sorrows.” He also says that when these things come to pass “the end is not yet.” Ephraim’s writing agrees with this interpretation as he says those same events have been “fulfilled (consummated)” in his day, but it was still not the actual Great Tribulation.

Ephraim in very strong language warns the reader not to be consumed with the cares of the world because the world in its current form, is coming to an end. As the Second Advent or Coming of The Lord YAHshua Christ grows near, believers are to look to Heaven and set their hearts on pleasing Elohim. It is clear that Ephraim distinguishes the Second Coming of Christ from the taking away, placing the taking away before the Great Tribulation to come.

THE Early Church never believed In anything like the satanic Rapture doctrines.
The ancient writings are clear – the belief in the satanic Rapture doctrines never existed in the days of the Apostles.

Although there are not a great number of writings on the end times from the early centuries of the church, there is no question that there was No belief in the Rapture among the church fathers or that they taught it for there is no scriptural support. In terms of the timing of the taking away, the early church fathers placed it before the end times Day of The Lord/Great Tribulation. The writings of early saints in the church are not Scripture and should not be treated on the same level of the Bible. These writings also clearly demonstrate that the taking away is not anything like the satanic rapture doctrines or non scriptural secret return of the Lord,

Only rightly divided Scripture from the Bible can determine if a specific belief is accurate or in error. But the writings of church fathers can serve as useful commentaries (just as we use Bible commentaries today in our studies) and certainly prove that the satanic Rapture doctrines did not exist before John Darby and have never been a part of Christian belief since the earliest days of the Apostles.
 Quoting: FHL(C)

so let's see here,

did the ancient church believe in the satanic rapture doctrines?
And the verses quoted above are the ones most abused by Rapturists,
and as its plain to see, they speak nothing of a satanic rapture, they speak of being caught away from the great tribulation re revelation chapter 12 and the Second non secret return of YAHshua.

As usual, the church fathers say something completely different than those holding to false beliefs CLAIM they say, i know this from debating roman catholics:

The pre darby rapture

Early Witnesses

"After the time of the apostles, a number of writings indicate belief in the imminence of Christ’s return, which is consistent with pre-tribulationism. Clement of Rome (35-101), Ignatius of Antioch (died 110), The Didache (a late first-century anonymous Christian treatise), The Epistle of Pseudo-Barnabas (circa 70-130), and The Shepherd of Hermas (second century) all reference Christ’s imminent return.[2] Even though it appears that the apostolic fathers were largely post-tribulational (because they believed the persecution they were enduring was the tribulation itself), they held to the doctrine of imminency. J. Barton Payne (a post-tribulationist) concluded that “belief in the imminence of the return of Jesus was the uniform hope of the early church.”[3]

But it appears that Irenaeus of Lyon (120-202) was a pre-tribulationist. Irenaeus was a disciple of Polycarp (who was a disciple of the apostle John) and articulated his eschatological views in Against Heresies, Book 5. First, he referred to Enoch’s translation and Elijah’s being “caught up” as previews of the Rapture. “For Enoch, when he pleased God, was translated in the same body in which he did please Him, thus pointing out by anticipation the translation of the just. Elijah, too, was caught up [when he was yet] in the substance of the [natural] form; thus exhibiting in prophecy the assumption of those who are spiritual, and that nothing stood in the way of their body being translated and caught up.”[4] Second, Irenaeus refers to the Church’s being “caught up” before the tribulation. “And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, ‘There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be’ (Mat 24:21). For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.”[5] The italicized “this” in his quotation is clearly a reference to the tribulation, which he then introduces.

Victorinus of Petrovium (died 304) was a bishop in modern Slovenia, martyred during Diocletian’s reign. In his commentary on Revelation (6:14), he writes, “And the heaven withdrew as a scroll that is rolled up.] For the heaven to be rolled away, that is, that the Church shall be taken away.”[6] Later, while explaining Revelation 15, he writes, “And I saw another great and wonderful sign, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is completed the indignation of God.] For the wrath of God always strikes the obstinate people with seven plagues, that is, perfectly, as it is said in Leviticus; and these shall be in the last time, when the Church shall have gone out of the midst.”[7] Therefore, Victorinus believed the Church would be raptured before the breaking of the seventh seal (and therefore, before the seven trumpet judgments and the seven bowl judgments), making him, at least, what we refer to as “pre-wrath” in his eschatology.

In a sermon entitled “On the Last Times, the Antichrist, and the End of the World,” Syrian church father Pseudo-Ephraem (fourth to sixth century) wrote, “For all the saints and elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins.”[8] The gathering Pseudo-Ephraem mentions appears to refer to a pre-tribulation Rapture of the Church."

To say you have now by your own choice decided to be a goat and deciever is very sad.

You make many accusations. Yet a simple observation of your second hand belief satanic rapture doctrines. Shows the two core versus upon which the whole house of cards and deception. Do not support the satanic rapture doctrines. In fact far from it.

For when those two verses are taken in context. There is no substantiation of even the word rapture let alone the satanic rapture doctrines.

All the other scriptures used as evidence are taken out of context and have absolutely nothing to do with The satanic rapture doctrines.

Is that simple enough?

You are setting up believers with false hope. Which when it fails to eventuate. Will be a real issue in the great tribulation.

How do you think you will justify that to our Lord Savior and Elohim?

You won't. You can't And i let you know now in advance. Your guilty of sinning against Him and His Body and Bride.

Abba in YAHshua name help this lost soul stop being a goat in the employ of wolves for free.

Amen YAH

Goat... so you think you earn your salvation by doing good deeds. Great, it just proves youre an unbeliever, you havent come to the conclusion yet you CANT earn your way into heaven. The sheep and the goats in Matthew 25 proves my point, they belong to a SEPERATE GROUP, and are NOT the church.

The rapture is indeed in the bible -> Harpazo:

im showing that the word rapture is a perfectly fine way of describing someone that is being catched up. there is no problem here unless you for some reason try to MAKE it a problem, and then the question is why?

No its not, and its a recent innovation in terms of common usage amongst desperate satanic rapture doctrines Rapturists to cling to the lie and deception it is by any means.

also its conflationary and as i have mentioned goes against all biblical and scripture exegesis for all the true doctrines of His Word,

but please continue exposing this great lie and deception, greatly appreciated.

Thank You Lord YAHshua for even more exposure and confirmation of the satanic rapture doctrines lies and deceit across the whole body of Christ, amen Abba YAH

No verse says the 'church' misses the Tribulation.

Jesus and ALL the others state believers will SEE tribulation.

'The church' isn't going anywhere.

Not you since youre a false prophet, but youre not the church.

I'm not prophesying anything.

No verse says 'the church is removed and misses the Tribulation'.

Re: The satanic masoretic rapture futurist dispensational flatearth jesuit papist doctrines & AntiScriptural day setting YAHshua return
Compare what Paul says to what Jesus says. It's the SAME evevent - the Second Coming.

Thread: After the Tribulation Documentary - NO Pre-Trib Rapture

1. No scripture states that Believers / "the Church" will miss Tribulation.

2. No scripture states that Jesus returns BEFORE "the day of the Lord".

3. No scripture states that Jesus returns MORE than once.

4. No scripture states that Jesus takes "the Church" to heaven for any period of time.

5. No scripture states that Tribulation only happens to the Hebrews.

Jesus clearly states that it will encompase the entire Earth.

.....

The pre-trib rapture is based on this passage by Paul.

1 Thessalonians 4

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

.........

Key phrases.

0. "we which are alive and remain"

It's clear that Paul expected to go THROUGH the Tribulation. He uses the word 'We' instead of 'those'. This is significant as it shows he was NOT epcecting to be 'taken away' BEFORE the Tribulation happened.

Those are Believers - including Elect - that weren't killed prior to Jesus' return. Remain from what? The Tribulation. These are the same that Jesus states 'he who overcomes' etc...

1. "THE coming of the Lord". Jesus returns once. No scripture states otherwise.

2. "trump of God". This is the "last trump" that Paul speaks of in 1 Corinthians 15:52. For further reference, see the Seven Trumpets of Revelation. This is echoed in Matthew 24.

3. "caught up together". This is the First Resurrection mentioned in Revelation.

4. "in the clouds". Jesus used the SAME phrase describing His Return.

5. "alive and remain" also matches the words "endureth to the end" (Matthew 10:22) "endure unto the end" (Mark 13:13) and "overcometh" (Revelation 2:26)

6. Jesus returns "after the Tribulation".

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation

of those days shall the sun be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light,
and the stars shall fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

7. Tribulation is not wrath. Scripture proves this.
