It's not 'simple assault'. It's assault with a dangerous weapon and it should hold the same weight as the Jan. 6th assault on Capitol Police....btw, that dude was sentenced to 5+ years.

Arguably, it's not a 'minor incident'. It's a pattern. It's a dangerous pattern. It's happening too frequently and too aggressively and not just to Asians.
