Kids need to take the 'Privilege Walk' | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 83466121 United States 10/05/2022 01:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nothing on the list is privilege. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80247695 The only thing that is real privilege is affirmative action hires or entry into colleges. or having your parents donate $47 million to make sure you and all of your siblings get into Harvard. A couple of isolated incidents where wealth is used and all white people are privilege and black people deserve free shit. Guess what? Their ancestors worked to make that money to make it happen. If dirt bag ancestors raise dirtbag kids who also raise dirtbags kids...and then they complain because they don't have money, who is at fault? By your logic, Lebron James should use his money to help poor hillbillies in Kentucky. What logic? That was a standalone statement? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79762512 You can be sure the ones who are, were often brought up by decent parents themselves. What fruitcakes? Teacher Union is run by communists. Too right, they are totally dehumanising kids, when kids or there parents did nout wrong. How is white peoples fault, that black people never made one decent civil country? Is it asians fault, that blacks never made one decent country? The most privileged people in the world, ie those who occupy tel aviv, promote others being privileged. What a joke? Where as schools used to be against bullying, now schools are the bullying mechanism for the tel aviv monster state over society. These people are bullying, and dehumanising your kids. Just glad i will never have any kids. Common sense needs to be reversed obviously. It's not that your parents are intelligent, thoughtful people with good morals and values that lead to prosperity...you are just privileged. Otherwise, we would need to talk about the fact that many parents are dumb AF with weak morals and values that preclude success. |

Their parents are working towards the American dream, you can get there if you work hard and have goals. You all have opportunities to get there, it takes hard work, but you can have this as well. This is America people; we have rights and opportunities This is what should be the message. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83771356 There is no Swahili word for "work." I mean we all know Hunter Biden is a savvy energy executive, right? Somewhere in Ukraine a truly savvy energy executive lost their job and probably blames a Russian instead of the real culprit. He got up at 5, shaved, dressed, ate breakfast and left at 5:20 for his hard, dirty factory job then came home at 4:30 PM. After he left for work she woke up the older kids and fed them, made their lunches, then we younger stragglers were brought out to eat. The kitchen was like a short order diner every day. We each got a paper bag with an apple, pear or banana and a sandwich, PBJ or baloney and a nickel for milk. Provided by our dad, through his work, which sometimes meant having two jobs. Mom mopped floors, did laundry, cleaned the whole house, fed the dog, took care of the check book and was busy all the time. She had a wringer washer but no dryer. Clotheslines were everywhere in the neighborhood. This is called "privilege." |

No, kid, you’re supposed to be mad at the 5 year old kid next to you. Quoting: 10001110101 And of course it’s not anyone else’s fault except the kid, preferably white, next to you. Corporate death machine scores another win. Is no one going to acknowledge the stigma this is going to put on the less "privileged" kids. Now the entire school knows for sure who the "less fotunate" are. That is not always a good thing for these kids and this could very well have the opposite effect then intended. Pages in this thread yet no one seems to be looking at the negative impact this may have on the poorer kids or whatever you want to call them. They likely already feel like shit compared to their peers, now the whole schools gets to know about it? Shameful, and once again no foresight by the liberal idiots doing this. Of course this is also very unfair to the kids that do have some privileges others don't as if it is somethign to be ashamed of. No one wins here....shitty agenda. Religion has no place in golf... |

Sick sick sick Quoting: Rorschach Watchmen Yes. All other things aside the last thing you want to do in a public school is highlight kids' individual issues among their peers. It's hard enough being there every day. I cannot imagine what it’s like now with the phones and social media. Our kids have always gone to a private Christian school in our small town, but public school in the 90s and 00s when I was in them were brutal, and that was before all of the pressures modern society places on them now. “When you’re dead you’re dead, but you’re not quite so dead if you contribute something” -John Dunsworth |
