I loved letting the book take me and my imagination away; I would get lost in it. I could read for hours. In school I was grade levels of reading above average. Now, we have smartphones and I spend wayyy too much time reading on mine. I'm sure lots still read but.... It's becoming more rare. We're always glued to reading our phones. It's so bad and so addicting. I realized, what am I doing? I need BOOKS!! Somewhere along the way I "lost" it. I'm gonna get it back! Gonna take my kids to the library and check out some for us both. I love kids books too; in real life I use different accents sometimes for fun and I can definitely incorporate those when reading their books. Lol. #tarded. Thrift shops always have a ton of new books too. I'm gonna have to go check it out.  "ask and you will receive." "Somewhere down yonder." We all have a purpose and gift(s). E-readers come with back light and you can adjust the size of the text for extra ease on the eyes. and have white letters on black background. and they take up less space obviously in case you go somewhere and want to bring several books. I like my e-reader. there is site called 'z-library' you can find pretty much any book you want and download it. if the book has charts/graphs, e-readers are not ideal. but for most books they are great |
