Re: Beware of people who call Jesus Christ by another name.
bridec The Lord is called Jesus Christ 187 times in the King James Version of the Bible, and in inexact phrases for another 359 times.

Spurious titles (with or without weird capitalization) such as YAHshua or YAH YHUH are not used even once.
Jehovah appears 4 times in the KJV, and was actually a word that first appeared sometime around the 13th century.

That is why we are called Christians or followers of Jesus Christ. The use of other titles is just another attempt to spread confusion and division amongst Christians.
 Quoting: Judethz

What did His mother call Him?

End of story.

Stop idolizing the king James version of the bible.

Go back to the original Greek and Aramaic when possible. That is why God preserved the dead sea scrolls... ...

God preserved the dead sea scrolls as a welcome home present for the j ish people that verified their bible and the christian reading on passages like psalm 22:16 which is only a minority masoretic reading and normally not published in their bible, an interesting detail that should make a habrew go "hmmmmm.."

God is verifying the King James bible aswell with that find. Its not God saying we need to speak aramaic and greek, but gave the j ish people a confirmation of the bible, and it gives some light on their history and prechristian groups that are also very favorable for us christians.

german5 To me the Dead Sea Scrolls were an exercise in frustration. Potty-mouthed, smary, anti-Christ academics, greedy antiquities dealers, and an ill defined mess of politicians, and fallen church leaders. Little bits and pieces being released in dribs and drabs over many years under the catch-all excuse that only a 'perfect' translation is good enough.
Besides I already have the truth.

But I guess that like you say they are there for a reason.

What you say is true, but it depends on what angle you come at this. I view this positively, the entire scroll of Isaiah was for example found and the psalm 22 passage for example, noone can argue christians have tampered with these texts, they DID try that one before we had the dead sea scrolls but now there is no excuse.

Along with your erroneous belief in the "beam me up Scotty" rapture BS, you seem to get a lot of thing totally wrong.

The name "Jesus" is GREEK. It is a name that Yeshua might very well have never even HEARD during His time on Earth.

The disciples certainly didn't call Yeshua by a Greek version of His name.

Yeshua was Hebrew. "Jesus" is NOT a Hebrew name.

Moses was not able to deliver the Israelites into the promised land because of his sin. However... Joshua WAS able to deliver the people into the promised land.

Joshua was a "type of Christ", and a microcosm of what Christ would later do on a worldwide scale.

The name Joshua is the English version of the Hebrew name "Yeshua".

And as you may (or probably don't) know, there are MANY errors of translation in the King James Bible.

Re: Beware of people who call Jesus Christ by another name.
although I agree with you...

Jesus, in English

Yeshua, in Aramaic (what He was called back then)

I do not believe His name is Jesus Christ.
Christ is what he Was/is: The Christ (A Title)

Putting them together like that, I think, is incorrect...it makes it appear as if that is His last name. He did not have one. People back then had 1 name...and for better detail they would say "Son of.." and add the person's Father's name..

So I agree with you...but not the last name...

If you say Jesus The Christ..you are more accurate.

anyways, God Bles you! hf

lmao

If you had even the SLIGHTEST idea of how many DECADES I have spent exposing the Mother of Harlots, AKA the Roman Papacy.

You sound like an IMBECILE.

And you use those ridiculous Chick tracks to "teach" others?

Seriously??

The King James Bible, although one of the BEST, is still not "perfect". There are over 2,300 KNOWN mistranslations and errors in the KJV.

Those who believe that it is perfect are self-deluded and in serious need of studying the Old English alongside the same verses in their original languages.

If you haven't done this, then you haven't studied to show yourself approved unto God.

Not surprising, since you are a total "Rapture" tard. Let me give you a little advice. You better prepare your ignorant self for a monumental surprise.

Best of luck. You'll need it.

Pure cambridge edition (british english) is the original King James, then there is an equally accurate americanized english, i believe that is whats known as the "authorized version".

It can be downloaded from here for free:

From Pure Cambridge edition:

"HOW TO KNOW THE PURE CAMBRIDGE EDITION OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE

It is important to have the correct, perfect and final text of the King James Bible, since there are correctors
(e.g. publishers) who have changed some aspects of King James Bible texts. The final form of the King James
Bible is the Pure Cambridge Edition (circa 1900), which conforms to the following:

1. “or Sheba” not “and Sheba” in Joshua 19:2
2. “sin” not “sins” in 2 Chronicles 33:19
3. “Spirit of God” not “spirit of God” in Job 33:4
4. “whom ye” not “whom he” in Jeremiah 34:16
5. “Spirit of God” not “spirit of God” in Ezekiel 11:24
6. “flieth” not “fleeth” in Nahum 3:16
7. “Spirit” not “spirit” in Matthew 4:1
8. “further” not “farther” in Matthew 26:39
9. “bewrayeth” not “betrayeth” in Matthew 26:73
10. “Spirit” not “spirit” in Mark 1:12
11. “spirit” not “Spirit” in Acts 11:28
12. “spirit” not “Spirit” in 1 John 5:8"

Moshe wrote the Torah in paleo Hebrew.

Portions of the Tanakh were written in Hebrew and Aramaic.

The new Testament was written in Koine Greek.

Moshiach spoke Aramaic, as did the apostles. And the name they referred to him by was Y'shua.

Not one of them spoke or wrote the Kings English.

Christos is Greek for 'the anointed one'. It is a title, not a name.

Iesus is the Greek form of Moshiachs' name.

Re: Beware of people who call Jesus Christ by another name.
:bridec: The Lord is called Jesus Christ 187 times in the King James Version of the Bible, and in inexact phrases for another 359 times.

The people using Yeshuaha or whatever are simply rabbis trying to lead you astray.

You have to be a special kind of stupid when the name JESUS is about 400 years old.

How special do you need to be to completely throw out the name used for 1600 years after his death?

How special do you need to be to completely disregard the name his mother, the apostles and his friends would have called him in his native language.

If you can figure out how to use the internet you will quickly find out what his name was before "Jesus" was invented. You can quickly find about 10000 references at your finger tips confirmed by not only biblical scholars but confirmed by the oldest texts that are the foundation of the bible as well as people that still know and speak the language today.

Re: Beware of people who call Jesus Christ by another name.

He knows the cries of his own sheep because he lives in their hearts.

this x1000

It is absolutely embarrassing to think that people in biblical Israel think that ENGLISH and ENGLISH names were used when the language DID NOT EXIST YET.

Then to say well the Greek name that is similar is correct over the native Aramaic that he spoke that is almost identical to the h brew language that was and still spoken today and keeps the name Yeshua.

Beyond retarted you are literally arguing with people that speak the language that hasn't changed for over 2000 years and telling them they are doing it wrong....

Think about how stupid that is.

Pure cambridge edition (british english) is the original King James, then there is an equally accurate americanized english, i believe that is whats known as the "authorized version".

It can be downloaded from here for free:

From Pure Cambridge edition:

"HOW TO KNOW THE PURE CAMBRIDGE EDITION OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE

It is important to have the correct, perfect and final text of the King James Bible, since there are correctors
(e.g. publishers) who have changed some aspects of King James Bible texts. The final form of the King James
Bible is the Pure Cambridge Edition (circa 1900), which conforms to the following:

1. “or Sheba” not “and Sheba” in Joshua 19:2
2. “sin” not “sins” in 2 Chronicles 33:19
3. “Spirit of God” not “spirit of God” in Job 33:4
4. “whom ye” not “whom he” in Jeremiah 34:16
5. “Spirit of God” not “spirit of God” in Ezekiel 11:24
6. “flieth” not “fleeth” in Nahum 3:16
7. “Spirit” not “spirit” in Matthew 4:1
8. “further” not “farther” in Matthew 26:39
9. “bewrayeth” not “betrayeth” in Matthew 26:73
10. “Spirit” not “spirit” in Mark 1:12
11. “spirit” not “Spirit” in Acts 11:28
12. “spirit” not “Spirit” in 1 John 5:8"

Does it have the added word Sacrifice in Daniel 12:11 and the changed words to support the added word?

That is a very important passage Today that has been changed, and in doing so much what was said has been lost.

From the Eth Cepher: correcting using the original Hebrew text.

Dan 12:11 And from the time of the removal of the daily lifting up, and the giving of the abomination of desolation, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Removal of the Daily lifting up is Shavuot, when the daily count of Omer (a period of 50 days of lifting oneself up to the Father) ends. From the Shavuot that preceded the Genesis 3:15 sign on June 10th 2019 to Day 1 of Hanukkah 12/18-19/2022 is exactly 1290 days. Hanukkah, a celebration that was added by man, that has direct ties to the Abomination of Desolation that Daniel spoke of.
