Bro driving down the street you have never come across some Pennsylvania shades? Do you make threads about every trailer park you drive by too retard? Anonymous Coward User ID: 84726552 United States 11/13/2022 01:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I get what you're saying, however, it's probably better see those things, rather than what's going on inside. If a person has their windows open, no blinds or anything to block your view from inside; is it still your business or anyone else walking by as to what is going on inside. When I take walks and people have their garage door open, I just don't look in that direction, unless they are out there and I stop and talk to them. Either way I advert my attention to their personal space on to them, or to where I am walking. |

If you don't provide curtains, and you also don't want them drilling holes, and you don't want them using sheets... I would think that providing room darkening shades would be in your best interest. “A grower of turnips or shaper of clay, a commot Farmer or a king--every man is a hero if he strives more for others than for himself alone.” Lloyd Alexander, The Castle of Llyr |

Thus, there is extra fabric that can fit any-size window. If you are two, sheet are light weight and thin. On my first two apartment's I used sheets for window curtains. My first apartment had large windows and I could use the top wide hem of the sheet for the pole to go through. On my next apartment, I did the same thing, but folded and pined the sheet so it looked like it had a valance or more like a pull shade. Although I use to pin my curtains up from the center out like a triangle when I wanted to see out. Sort of like how some of the Amish do. And since I lived int he northeast at the time It was appropriate. What I like about sheets as window coverings and even sometimes shower curtains, first it is cheap. I did that once too for one bedroom. A thrift store find. Next, the fabric is thin and lets the light through without having to expose the world to your home. Sheets often come in a variety of patterns as well, so free wall / widow art. And, some people think it is trendy just to use a wire anchor instead of cheap curtain rod to mount their sheets as curtains. I always did my sheets up neat and tidy, so it looked more like it was intentional and less drug induced, lazy, and ghetto. I don't like that look from the street level. |
WhateversClever User ID: 84501703 United States 11/13/2022 01:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | LMAO! Does it count if I hung a curtain rod and use curtain clips? Or does this ghetto-ness only count if I used the sheets with wall tacks? I reused my kids character sheets (flat) as curtains in their bedroom.
