Would you rather drag race 1960s muscle cars or downhill ski?

They have always been about the same expense.

I grew up by US30 Dragstrip, guys were gearheads by default.

Strip cars cruised up and down on Broadway, nearby, cruisin in their war paint, toothpaste numbers on the windshield.

I went downhill skiing once.
Yeah fun.
Much moguls.
Whoop whoop.
Is this all there is to whee?

I Really DID have a good time, but nothing like getting a 383 to sing and screech the sure grip rear end hitting second gear @ 5700 rpm just before valve float.
