The B2 is stealth, and highly effective at it. A mix of shape, design, and radar absorbing materials combine to a total RCS of a bumble bee. Add that to specific flight paths skirting target radar coverage and moves from interesting to virtually invisible.

Unofficially, I have seen sources indicate an individual sortie payload of 20 tons. I do not know if this includes fuel, or is only munitions. Either way, that is a lot of boom.

Another thing is it can be loaded with mines just like 500 lb bombs. 1 fly-over can turn the entrance of any port, bay or shipping lane into a wwn naval mine field. The scary part is locals would have no indication of it until things were already going boom..

Hell, the F22 and most other aircraft can load up tactical nukes, it doesn't even require something like this. This is just the big one that can carry lots of it..
